Power 2024 U.S. Medicare Advantage Study, an annual analysis of eight factors among MA plan members in 10 different states.

Approximately 32.8 million people in the United States are enrolled in Medicare Advantage plans, accounting for more than half (54%) of eligible Medicare beneficiaries.1 U.S. Census data shows that California is the state with the largest elderly population, with more than 5.9 million people aged 65 and over, accounting for more than 10% of the total U.S. population aged 65 and over of 55 million.

This year’s study noted that convenience in seeking care, low out-of-pocket costs and provider choice were the top factors driving client satisfaction with MA plans.
